# tcl/tk binding |
27 |
# |
28 |
|
29 |
|
30 |
To compile the tcl/tk binding, you need version 8.3.5 of tcl and tk, |
31 |
though it may work with other versions too. |
32 |
The standard GUI application uses D. Richard Hipp's TkHTML 2.0. |
33 |
|
34 |
It is recommended, but not necessary, that you create a fresh |
35 |
compile of Tcl/Tk and extensions using the maketcltk script. |
36 |
|
37 |
Then use |
38 |
configure <your-install-dir> |
39 |
to create the file make.tcltk, |
40 |
which will contain various settings as appropriate for your installation |
41 |
(e.g. wether it is a shared and/or threaded build). |
42 |
|
43 |
Then switch to the tkhtml subdirectory to build tkhtml using |
44 |
make TKHTML=<tkhtml-source-dir> install |
45 |
to install the TkHTML libraries. |
46 |
|
47 |
If the environment variable WIN32 is set to something non-empty, |
48 |
maketcltk, configure and the Makefiles will attempt a mingw build. |
