in Central and Eastern Europe. We have had to redesign our WWW pages
because the company has grown and the old design needed updating. Since
our website first appeared, PLIVA has expanded with acquisitions of
pharmaceutical companies in the Czech Republic, France and the United
Kingdom. Concentrating our efforts on becoming the best pharmaceutical
producer we can, we have spun off our cosmetics, food and agrochemicals
production programmes, and PLIVA is focusing its resources on the
development of new chemical and biological entities, new generic
pharmaceuticals and the further internationalization of PLIVA
operations.
